New Yorker Ashrita Furman, 54, has the distinction of holding 100 simultaneous Guiness World Records.  his latest victory comes from organizing the single largest group poetry reading/translation in history.  while we aren’t agreeing with the poem of choice, we are 100% behind the sentiment.  right on, furman, right on!

Furman, 54, of Jamaica, Queens, became the first person to hold 100 Guinness Book of World Records simultaneously Tuesday after assembling a group that recited a poem in 111 languages at City Hall Park. The bunch took turns reading “Precious,” by the late Indian spiritual leader Sri Chinmoy.
