Time to Move to the UK

August 24, 2005

Q: What made the UK’s Guardian say “Poetry has come of age”
A: A poetry boyband.

Aisle 16 are the UK’s only Poetry Boyband.
Aisle 16 has headlined at many of the UK’s major spoken-word events (the poetry Society, Manchester Poetry Festival) and they’ve captivated crowds at the Glastonbury Festival. The group already has many fans, as shown by this website. One earnest fan has even decoded the meaning to all of the band’s poems/songs.

Aisle 16’s website rocks because it includes things like fashion tips, a study guide and downloads.
