We’ve had a google alert set for Ice-T and poem (not to mention “Ice-T” + “poetry” and “Ice-t” + “poet”) for some time now. And today great google delivered to our inbox the long anticipated Ice-T connection to poetry and this wonderful roller-coaster that we call the life of words*

This June, Ice-T will narrate Langston Hughes’ poem Ask Your Mama: Twelve Moods for Jazz with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
